Post Desk privacy policy

Last updated: 9 November 2026

Post Desk is a personal tool. Only its owner uses it, and only with their own accounts.

What it accesses

With the owner's permission, Post Desk uses the YouTube API Services to upload videos to the owner's channel and to read that channel's name and handle, the view, like and comment counts of its videos, and the comments on them.

Where the data is kept

Everything stays on the owner's own computer. Access tokens are kept in the computer's keychain. Post Desk has no server of its own and does not sell or share this data.

Processing by an AI assistant

To plan better content, the numbers and comment text may be sent to Anthropic's Claude assistant, under the owner's own Claude account.

Google and YouTube

Post Desk uses YouTube API Services. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Removing access

Access can be removed at any time from Google account permissions. Removing the channel from Post Desk also deletes its token from the computer.
